Songwriter/composers Stephen Trask and Peter Yanowitz both come from rock music backgrounds. Trask has also had success in the theatre as composer and lyricist of Hedwig and the Angry Inch and writing for several films. Yanowitz has had great success working with artists such as The Wallflowers and Natalie Merchant as well as with his own band, Morningwood. Now, they are collaborating on two musical theatre projects -- 54, which the two are writing with Jersey Boys book writer Rick Elice, and the musical adaptation of the movie Clueless. Trask and Yanowitz will share their experience working together and will explore what it takes to create and launch a musical on Broadway today.
