VP, A&R and Film & TV - peermusic
Sam joined peermusic in 2007 as VP of A&R, bringing with him a 15-year history of a creative and entrepreneurial approach to the music industry. With expertise in synchronization, he was promoted to VP of A&R and Film & Television in 2008. Sam is responsible for overseeing all synchronization licensing activities as well as discovering and developing new talent for peermusic. Sam began his career in the early '90s by co-founding Madgroove Entertainment, an independent management and Grammy-nominated production company representing multi-platinum recording artists such as Snow and producer Danny P. Madgroove, whose production credits include Bush, Meredith Brooks, and the Backstreet Boys among several others. In 2004, Sam moved to Los Angeles where he was appointed VP of Film & Television for FirstCom Music, a subsidiary of BMG Music Publishing. In 2006, Kling was promoted to VP of Film & Television for both BMG Songs/Zomba Music Publishing and FirstCom Music.
